What we collect ourselves
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and you do not need an account to play.
Your game progress (levels, coins, unlocks, settings) is saved on your device. If you sign in to Google Play Games, a copy of that progress is also stored in your Google account (see below) so it survives a reinstall or a new phone.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows optional reward videos and, between runs, occasional full-screen ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (used to estimate your approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the game asks for your consent or offers you a choice through Google's consent message before personalised ads are used. Our ad requests are marked for a teen-and-up audience (content rating T). You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings. Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Gameplay analytics (GameAnalytics)
To understand how the game is played and to fix difficulty and bugs, the game sends gameplay events to GameAnalytics: a random identifier created on your device at first launch (not your advertising ID), session start and length, device model and OS version, progression (which stage or wave you reached, won or lost), in-game currency earned and spent, tutorial steps, choices made in the game, and the product and price of any in-app purchase. GameAnalytics derives your approximate country from your IP address. This data is used only for analytics. GameAnalytics' policy: gameanalytics.com/privacy.
Google Play Games Services
Sign-in is optional. If you sign in with Play Games, Google shares your Play Games player ID and profile name with the game, records achievements you unlock, and stores your saved progress in your Google account. You can sign out or delete your Play Games data from the Play Games app. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The game receives a purchase confirmation (product, order identifier) to deliver the item and to restore items you own after a reinstall.
How long data is kept
Progress on your device is kept until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Cloud saves stay in your Google account until you delete them. Analytics events are kept by GameAnalytics according to its retention policy and are not linked to your name or email. Advertising data is kept by Google according to its policies.
Your choices and rights
Change ad consent: the consent message is shown again if you clear the game's data; you can also opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings.
Delete your data: email us (below) and we will delete analytics data associated with your install, and tell you how to remove cloud saves and Play Games data held by Google.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise them. We do not sell your personal information. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Children
Runewall is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game, contact us and we will delete any data we hold.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, mention it in the game's update notes.
